State Representative, District 97
America First Party Of Tennessee
Election Date - November 5, 2002
Top Issues
- Lowering taxes, NO STATE INCOME TAX
- TennCare Reform (Weed out the corruption)
- Improving Schools (Return to local control)
Candidate Statement -
It's time for the people of my state to have invigorated representative leadership with energetic ideas on how to implement the wishes of the voters of this district. It's time that the decent, tax paying citizens, have a leader willing and able to forge a new and populist direction for Tennessee. I am that leader. Once elected, the only special interests that I will have are my constituents, sovereignty for this great Southern state, and the success in reaching the goals and fulfilling the promises that I have made to the people I will be representing. I oppose any proposed new taxes and will fight to reduce the current taxation now. Schools should be returned to local control and focus on education and excellence rather than esteem and indoctrination. The corruption must be cleaned out of TennCare so that the program can be run honestly and efficiently. Only legal and verified citizens of Tennessee should be able to obtain our state's drivers license.
