Candidate Statement -

In Framingham, my top priority is the issue of illegal aliens. In our town of 67,000, we have about 10,000 illegals, whom our current town officials literally aid and abet.

In general, my top concerns are:

1) Keeping God and Christianity in the public arena. I recently attended a fantastic presentation by Dan Barton of Wall Builders where he talked about America's Christian heritage. The further this country moves away from that foundation, the more we decay morally. Atrocities such as abortion and homosexual "marriages" are the fruit of this problem.

2) Defending and upholding the Constitution. Marine General Smedley Butler, after a lifetime of military service determined that war was a "racket" and the only true reasons for America to go to war were 1) to defend against being invaded and 2) to defend the Constitution. Many of our "leaders" today would have us scrap our Constitution in whole or in part for temporary "benefits." Ben Franklin said it best when he declared that those who would sacrifice liberty for safety, deserce neither liberty nor safety.

3) Defending American Sovereignty. People today have been sucked into the mindless vortex of globalism, political correctness, mulitculturalism and diversity, all of which have the same goal of dismantling America, the nation that we Patriots love. Attempts to destroy our sovereignty come in many forms: overwhelming illegal alien presence in America, U.N. driven gun control and many others.

As Tip O'Neill said, "All politics is local." Well, so is corruption and therefore civic responsibility. That's why I co-founded a local group to address the issue of illegal aliens in my town and joined Town Meeting. That's why I hope to run for Selectmen and State Representative in my town eventually.
