A quorum being present, the meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 9:32 p.m.

The Chairman delivered his report. He will be issuing a press release tomorrow or Wednesday about inflation and the easy money permitted by the Federal Reserve banking system.

The Secretary reminded the members that he had previously circulated draft minutes for the November 12, 2007 meeting of the Operating Committee. Mr. Hey moved the adoption of the minutes as published. His motion was seconded by Mr. Schweingrouber. The minutes were adopted by unanimous vote.

The fundraising letter was mailed Wednesday, November 21. A few responses have already been received.

The Treasurer reported that the party's bank balance is $ 5,058.25. There are no unpaid invoices at this time.

A discussion of fundraising options took place.

Mr. Hill reported that the Partybuilding Committee will be meeting soon to discuss the conflict in the rules regarding access to the partybuilding database by organizing committee members. A discussion took place on processing and responding to contacts that the party receives.

Mr. Schweingrouber stated that he is calling a Public Relations Committee meeting for December 15 to continue work on the next newspaper. He mentioned some individuals who have almost finished articles.

Mr. Hey reported that the Rules Committee is presently on hiatus.

A time of general discussion took place.

There being no further business, on motion made by Mr. White, seconded by Mr. Schweingrouber, and adopted by unanimous consent, the meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
