<br>Perhaps these troubles are given to us by the Almighty to temper us for the cause of Righteousness.  We would do well to heed the words of Joseph, the Jewish patriarch, whose insight into God’s leading is as true today as it was four thousand years ago:  “They meant it for evil, but the Lord turned it to good.”
<br><br>The Scripture writer's exhortation that we overcome evil with good is surely one of the most difficult Biblical prescriptions to follow.  The Reverend Dr. Wildmon is a courageous man, known for standing for the truth.  We only hope that he will see the evil that assaults, not just our Flag, but those fundamental truths which it honors and for which it stands.  We would be pleased to stand with him and with all men of good will in our state, so that joining together, we might overcome the evil with good.
