<br><center><i>"...but overcome evil with good."</i></center>
<br>The terrible shame of this battle for the Flag has been the failure of its supporters to enunciate clearly what the Flag stands for, and why good people ought to stand up for it.
<br><br>Rather than defend our State Flag on aesthetic grounds, or heritage, we should aggressively defend it because it is Right.
<br><br>This fight is a great opportunity to educate our people on the values our Flag represents.  It is a time to remind us that our forebears stood strong and faced death for what they believed.  It is a chance to teach our youth the virtue of defending transcendent ideals more important than their personal desires or instant gratification.
<br><br>We can overcome the evil of those who hate our Flag and what it stands for by proclaiming its true worth and meaning.  We can use that hate as a springboard to launch a crusade for the cause our Flag represents.
<br><br>Too often, good men and women bow to the onslaught of wickedness in the public square.  Wearied by the struggle, they lose hope, and they despair for that which is right. 
<br><br>But what if the hatred and lies that Flag opponents display prompt a renewed vision of freedom in our State, and stir up a reinvigorated army of rebel freedom fighters to help roll back the tyranny of big government?
